SEEDS OF CHANGE -
Seeds of Change is a recycled art community project in Liverpool 8, funded by Liverpool City Region Environment Fund. Faith was invited by Tmesis Theatre Company to work with local community groups to create a recycled sculpture, made from collected rubbish. Alongside the art work, the project created information boards, encouraging environmental care and plant trees/ wildflowers on the green space around the sculpture. There is a huge issue with waste, dumping of items & rubbish in any and every available place. The tree is a symbol of growth/change, owned and created by the community, enabling a space for events/ projects and a legacy which encourages positive transformation. The project culminated with a day of community activity and performance at the tree in August 2021.
